Finals

Our final day of racing was really good, we started with a great 200m heat which we managed to win by a fair margin, and then did it again in the semi beating the Denmark crew by 0.012s. Sunday afternoon were our 2 finals first up was our 500m, we had a really great start but once settled into our rhythm we just seemed to loose touch with the field slowly but surely and had to settle for 8th. I was really happy to be in the 500m final, I really don't feel I am well conditioned for the longer stuff.

The last race of the regatta was our 200m, we had an awesome race, we got out of the blocks really well and were level with the Danish at the front of the race for the 1st 30m meters. The French and Spanish then began to edge ahead at this point in time its pretty obvious that these 2 boats have the highest top speed. We ended 4th 0.016s behind the Dane's 0.234 behind the Spanish and 0.396 behind the French.
