Final Preparations in Szeged

Training has gone well here in Szeged over the past week and I am busy starting to taper slightly as we begin to bring our bodies to a peak. Our last 12 week cycle has gone really well and I am feeling solid going into the last week. There has been a massive change this year with my approach to training; for the first time ever I will be brining myself to an all round system peak and not just be peaking my neurological system by resting out for the last week. All other systems are a GO!
This years professional approach is definitely paying off, going into France we were 3 weeks off our peak and managed to pull off a 4th. With everything still going according to plan I am confident that we will improve on this result.
We will be working hard to keep this professionalism going, innovating where we can to continue improving at the rate we are in order to achieve our best result possible come London 2012.

We have been training on the race course for the last week, it has been amazing to stay on the waters edge. This has totally eliminated concerns of the cold and wet weather. Above is a pic of Ruby and I doing a start this morning.
