Poznan, The 2010 World Championships

This morning saw my first paddle here in Poznan. It's a real relief to be back on the water. After a few kilometres my boat was feeling rather sweet and my body seemed to be responding nicely once the minor aches and pains had been ironed out. Excitement is really building here most the countries arrived last night and this morning, you can sense how keen everyone is to line up against the toughest competition from around the globe.

Shaun and I jump in o the K2 this afternoon and if there are any cob webs left after this morning they'll be blasted out in our first start. Our K2 is going really well and we have been doing some great split times over the 200m distance. If we can keep it together and repeat what we've been doing in training we should be in for a good result. I'm really looking forward to it.
